part 1 of a trilogy still under construction and in the same mood but going bolder and darker.This is my first work on Mac and totaly composed by myself as well. So this time no cover, no backing track etc. but to my opinion I keep on turning in the style of …..Gilmour (?). You say it Ofcourse I am influenced by what I hear, and as I am a fervent Pink Floyd fan I am always searching for that outstanding Gilmour tone and intonation. Probably some phrases in the song may sound familiar. I can’t help it and it was’nt meant like that. Besides Pink Floyd there are others that are a part of my favourite bands like there are : 10CC, Simple Minds, Alan Parsons Project, Roxy Music, Hooverphonic, Cirque du soleil and others. For this song the lead guitar is plugged via my old good Boss GT6 (clean boost mode) right into the mixing consol. GT6-effects: compressor, chorus, delay, EQ. No amps have been used….

My first attempt at covering Coming Back To Life by Pink Floyd, from the album The Division Bell. This is just my first attempt and all that I learned in one day. So, I’ll probably get better in the days to come….

Richard Wright’s keyboard part in this song fascinated me as a teenager discovering Pink Floyd’s music…so now all these years later…I put together a patch on the Roland XV which emulates it ok…the bass parts I layered and mixed with several different sounds.
