THIS IS MY VERY FIRST CRACK AT MOVIE EDITING. I have taken all of the bits from the Hans Keller interview that consist of just Syd Barrett’s (very lovely) moments. I put together this short sweet bit and I dedicate it to that beautiful, late, great PIPER, MADCAP, MUSICIAN, ARTIST, POET, DREAMER, LOVER & TRULY BEAUTIFUL SOUL. As of this writing, it has been 6 years since you’ve emerged from your chrysalis as a butterfly into the next world. May you finally be free from your foibles and be your former “Happy Piper” self again. I know not everyone believes in that sort of thing but I respect their right to not believe. That said, I put together this short little bit of footage of the Sydster. SHINE ON!… |

This is the first part of our crazy gig in Turin. The song perfomed here is Astronomy Dominé from Pink Floyd’s ‘The Piper At The Gates of Dawn’ album (1967). All this footage is made of unedited video and audio files, directly caught by a digital camera in the audience (special thanks to Massimo Andrione). This was played live in Turin ATC Theatre (Italy) on 27-11-11 by Interstellar Factory during the ‘Shine’ Festival…. |

Very Interesting RoIO, it’s the union of 67-69 (v.) and EARLY TOURS 70-71. Exists in different editions: 1. Original version contains a blue insert with the songlist and an erotic picture of a woman ‘dressing’ a snake, with a crystal sphere. The original cover is plain white, with a loose blue sheet with song listing and liner notes. 2. With a paper sheet as a cover; 3. With a BW cover and ‘Blank Records’ labels; 4. With Barrett on the cover and a story called ‘Revelation From The Very Middle’ on the rear. “Face One cuts 1, 2, 3 & 4 were recorded in 1967 with Syd Barrett & cuts 5 & 6 were recorded in 1969 with Dave Gilmour. Face Two was recorded live in Amsterdam in 1969. Faces Three & Four are the best parts of Floyd’s continental tours in 1970 & 1971…. |
