Comfortably Numb é uma das canções mais conhecidas do Pink Floyd e talvez a mais sensacional do grupo. Mais uma música com a assinatura Gilmour/Waters, faz parte do antológico The Wall de 1979, e depois em 1982 o filme de Alan Parker. Comfortably Numb também é conhecida pelo fato de ter em todas as suas versões, o solo final executado de forma diferente, assim, ganhando várias versões para ser escutada. Foi executada na turnê: Is There Anybody Out There de 1980 a 1981, com David Gilmour tocando-a em um muro de mais de dez metros. O solo da canção inclusive é constantemente apontado como o maior do grupo eo mais bonito de todos os tempos. Apresentação desse vídeo em Londres em 02/07/2005 com a formação clássica do Pink Floyd 20 anos depois da separação do grupo, no evento Live 8, organizado por Bob Geldof que protagonizou o roqueiro Pink no filme The Wall de 1982…. |
