So, It’s 2AM, and I’m awake and drinking and on a quest to find the answer to one of those nagging questions: can I sing? Now, for clarification, drinking does not negatively affect my singing voice, or my piano skills such as they are, so yeah, it wouldn’t be any better if I hadn’t been drinking. I know I biffed the words a bit…yeah, you can hate on that. I have music because I have memory issues, so the wanting to know if I can sing isn’t because I want to go on Idol or something silly like that, more the sort of thing where if somebody hands me a microphone do I run like hell or play it for what it’s worth…(also, if it’s any good, I’ll get a better mic.) Also, in the event that I can sing, what should I be singing, somebody said my voice would be ok for like songs from vaudeville and Broadway stuff but I’m not sure? I picked this song because well, I like it. Fantastic effects and sound; the first part of the video is “Is There Anybody Out There”, and at 2:44 it moves into “Nobody Home”. Note how the stage opens to have a drawbridge-style platform for this second song. Amazing….
