To get the Surround Sound effect watch this video in 720p and you must use headphones, it will not work through speakers of any kind not even a surround sound setup. Binaural works by adding phasing to certain sounds to trick your ears into thinking they’re coming from behind you rather than just in front of you like they are when you listen to a normal Stereo file. The only downside is it only works with headphones. But I highly recommend you get a copy of the Quadraphonic version, Us and Them sounds amazing, the Delay moves to a different speaker each time! This is my Binaural mix or Time/The Great Gig In The Sky by Pink Floyd from their 1973 album Dark Side Of The Moon. I made this by taking the 1973 Alan Parsons Quadraphonic mix and panning the 4 channels using the Binaural panner in Logic Pro. This is not an official release I made this as an experiment and I’m quite pleased with the results, while no binaural track will ever be as good as it’s quadraphonic counterpart you can’t really take a Quad sound system on public transport so I made this so I can listen to it on my iPod. I’m not sure if this will work after youtube compresses it but if it does and you want to hear another song from Dark Side Of The Moon just let me know in the comments. “Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
