David gilmour pink floyd black strat stratocaster relic clone

David gilmour pink floyd black strat stratocaster relic clone

This is my David Gilmour Black Stratocaster clone,,, my goal was to get as close to the original “Black Strat” as possible,,,, beyond what the Fender Custom Shop built. Phil Taylors book “The Black Strat” was a great help in this build which I highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of David Gilmour and hisBlack Strat. The guitar sounds beautiful and and is dream to play,,,, I hope to have a live video up soon….

David gilmour smile

David gilmour smile

“Smile” is a single by guitarist and vocalist David Gilmour, released on June 13, 2006. The song Smile was first performed at Gilmour’s 2001 and 2002 live shows (and also on the accompanying DVD) where Gilmour introduced it as “This is a new one so if you are bootlegging, start your machines now.” It was eventually recorded at his houseboat studio, the Astoria, for the 2006 album On An Island. During the three nights at the Royal Albert Hall during his On An Island tour in 2006, empty CD wallets bearing the Smile single cover, and a CD-sticker were left on seats of audience members who would discover them on arrival, each one bearing a unique number. The idea was to download the single from iTunes, burn it to a CD-R, place the CD shaped sticker onto the burned CD and keep it in the wallet. Island Jam was initially available via Gilmour’s website before being made more widely available. Lyrics : Would this do To make it all right While sleep has taken you Where I’m out of sight I’ll make my getaway Time on my own Search for a better way To find my way home To your smile Wasting days and days On this night Always down and up Half the night Hopeless to reminisee Through the dark hours We’ll only sacrifice What time will allow us You’re sighing… sighing All alone Though you’re right here Now it’s time to go From your sad stare Make my getaway Time on my own Needing a better way To find my way home To your smile…
