Well I cut off my head, plus my drumming gets out of sync at the end, otherwise I would have continued the video to the end of the Breathe coda, the transition to which is surprisingly tricky. I think I get the gist of the rallentando when I play it, but I couldn’t get it right for the video. The beat itself also is tricky since the tempo is only a few ticks slower than rest of the song and feels like swing-time rather than straight. Mason always plays tight, but on this song, you could set your watch by his beat. The title “Time” is thus thematic on many levels. Sadly, much of my playing for this cover was not on time….
