Not mine , i don’t want to use this in anyway that violates Copyright. So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, Blue skys from pain. Can you tell a green field From a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? And did they get you to trade Your heros for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change? And did you exchange A walk on part in the war For a lead role in a cage? How I wish, how I wish you were here. We’re just two lost …… |

With everything Waters did to make this album ‘feel’, we couldn’t just leave it without the background noises- Seagulls, rain, dogs barking, boats, crickets, explosions……Im a hack with this stuff, but its all homemade no samples from the real song, just found sounds to add….It was 4am when we did this and a lot of drinking- BEWARE the loud singing parts—ouch,,,Pink Floyd-Roger Waters-Southampton Dock-Final Cut… |

The song is about a traveller who goes on a quest just for kicks, reflecting the voyage of discovery undertaken by the explorers in the film. Lyrics: Come on, my friends, Let’s make for the hills. They say there’s gold but I’m looking for thrills. You can get your hands on whatever we find, ’cause I’m only coming along for the ride. Well, you go on your way and I’ll go …… |

From Meddle, this song was a underground hit for the band, and was never released as a single. It is known for its distinct acoustic style…. |
