I did these clips this afternoon as a mic test in my quest of the”sweet spot” of the mic against the amp’s speaker. Nothing really serious, just some jams for fun. No tabs available, I don’t read them, but use my ears. Also forgive me for this really bad mistake during Poles Apart, ah ah! |

Pink Floyd is one of my absolute favorite bands, but I have been deathly afraid of covering any of their songs. There are a lot of purist out there that will say that this is not exactly right and so on. Well, Yes, I know, David Gilmour is God and I am a mere mortal. Now that this has been established here is a fantastic Floyd song from the Division Bell album. I will post more Floyd covers in the future, I love their music too much not to at least try to play it. Peace…. |

Thanks for watching! This is my version of Echoes Part 1 David Gilmour First SOLO, Fender Stratocaster Neck Pickup, GT-10 User Patch (Dynacomp + Mid Boost + Clean Twin + EQ Bass Boost + Hall Reverb). It is not my best performance, neither I had a good quality video, but just for you to understand my GT-10 Sound that I like pretty much and my pleasure to play this solo (I can listen to David’s original one thousand times and never be tired). Please rate and leave your comments! Write me an e-mail if you want the GT-10 patch. Maurizio… |

After 3 hours and 20 tries I actually got a pretty decent shot at this famous solo by David Gilmour. This is probably my favorite song by Pink Floyd and it’s got one of my favorite solos in it. And, hey! I got to use my half replica Gilmour strat:D I used a Fender Gilmourished custom, a Boss GT-8 and a Marshall valvestate 8080 I know it’s not 100%, but I hope you enjoy it!: )… |
