On May 12th 2011, David Gilmour joined Roger Waters for ‘Comfortably Numb’ during Roger’s ‘The Wall’ Live concert at London O2 Arena. Later in the set, David appeared on stage w. Roger again, playing mandolin, for ‘Outside The Wall’. A big surprise to the Pink Floyd fans in attendance, Nick Mason appeared on stage as well, playing a tambourine, making this a full blown Pink Floyd reunion of t he 3 surviving members of the band. The first time since 1981 that David, Roger and Nick has performed ‘Outside The Wall’. Of Roger’s present bandmembers, Snowy White (guitar) and Sgt. John Joyce (backing vocals) were original members of ‘The Wall’ tour backing band, The Bleeding Hearts Band, back in 1980 as well. Enjoy this epic moment in musical history…. |
