A clip featuring Roger Waters performing “Vera” from Pink Floyd’s The Wall record. Recorded in December of 2010 from the nose-bleeds at The Honda Center in Anaheim California. The visuals and famous Eisenhowser quote do a great job to further enhance the resonating, and timeless message in this song. “Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron. ” Dwight D. Eisenhower, April 16, 1953 It’s time to bring the boys (and girls) back home. Out of Iraq, Out of Afghanistan…. Enough already… |

Pink Floyd performing One Of These Days live at Veterans Stadium Philadelphia, America on May 15th 1988. Great footage of the light show & the pig. The beginning of this one reminds me of the 77′ In The Flesh tour with the crowd getting rowdy & being told to calm down! This is taken straight from a late 80′s VHS copy. A big thanks to my friend & fellow Floyd fan John Golby for supplying the video & bringing this footage into the light!… |

Pink Floyd performing Run Like Hell live at Veterans Stadium Philadelphia,America. May 15th 1988. Great footage of the light show on this one, some of the best audience footage i’ve seen from 88′. This is taken straight from a late 80′s VHS copy. A big thanks to my friend & fellow Floyd fan John Golby for supplying the video & bringing this footage into the light!… |

Pink Floyd … This is not about religion. It’s about mankind and how we treat the earth. My original 100% organic tribute to Pink Floyd. I was in a creative heavy mood and I wanted to compose a cool mix of metal and symphonic classical music in a Pink Floyd melodic manner. So I pulled out all the stops, lots of keyboard padding, choir voices, classical loops and of course some meaty guitar with lot and melody solos with some very interesting breaks. For the sweet icing on the top of this cake I invited the great Pap Johnson do some superb sax solo work. The result is a very Cinematic Final Fantasy vibe. This was a blast to conjure up. I hope you all like it. As always comments are most welcome. Cheers, Peace and Love PAP JOHNSON – Sax… |
