Pink floyd – echoes intro – gdansk version [guitar cover with kemper kpa and boss gt-10]

Pink floyd - echoes intro - gdansk version [guitar cover with kemper kpa and boss gt-10]

Hi guys and YouTube friends, in this video I cover the intro solo of ECHOES as Gilmour plays in Gdansk DVD Version. I believe it’s one of the greatest phrasing / amazing sounds done by Mr. David. It was my first experiment using together my Boss GT-10 and the new incredible KEMPER PROFILING AMPLIFIER! I wanted to share with you the result so you can judge for yourself what is coming out… No postprocessing at all were applied. GEAR USED and EFFECT CHAIN in details Fender Stratocaster Vintage USA 57 Neck Pickup, GT-10 / KPA User Patch (Dynacomp Compressor + Natural OD + KEMPER PROFILING AMPLIFIER with MARSHALL JCM2000 CLEAN PROFILE + EQ Meedle Boost + Delay 450 ms + very low Stereo Chorus + Hall Reverb). Rate, comment and ask me anything you want related to sounds stuff. Just a curiosity… I made some modifications to my Surf Green Vintage Stratocaster: aesthetic and functional, for the aesthetic ones you can see the new pickguard ordered by Warmoth Guitar, for the functional I hope to find the time to do a video next time and explain better. CIAO! Maurizio70…

Gibson les paul r7 gold top 57 reissue showing my eric clapton dave gilmour gary moore licks

Gibson les paul r7 gold top 57 reissue showing my eric clapton dave gilmour gary moore licks

As per the title, really. I reference the solo from Brick in the Wall towards the end, but it’s really self indulgence! Love the tone from my Les Paul Gold Top 57 Re-issue. This model is from ’97 and it was made in the Custom Art & Historic division at Gibson. Has the ’57 Classic humbuckers, & I can’t see how the sound could be improved (without a much better amp and player, of course!) The amp is a cheap Custom Sound Trucker 65w transistor bass amp I got from Ebay for less than £5.00!…

Pink floyd – comfortably numb cover (second solo)

Pink floyd - comfortably numb cover (second solo)

My cover/take on Pink Floyd’s second guitar lead from “Comfortably Numb” on The Wall. It’s not perfect, and it’s not note for note, but it’s a cover so that’s how it should be. I tried to put my style into the song, and maybe I got a bit trigger happy with the pinch harmonics, but whatever haha. I used the studio version of the song as the backing track, so you’ll hear David Gilmour’s amazing playing coming through at times. Gear Used: Marshall JVM205H – OD Orange Mode Avatar 2×12 with G12T-75′s Digitech RP1000 (only used for delay) Epiphone G400 SG PUPs: Seymour Duncan JB (bridge), Seymour Duncan Jazz (neck) Recorded with a Shure SM-57 microphone and an M-Audio Fast Track recording interface….
