12/28/11 Eric Clapton solo from 24 Nights. by Michael Matza Nachoec is another great guitarist on youtube who’s got clapton down to a science. He uses a gold leaf strat with fender lace sensors while I am using the current vintage noiseless pickups. Compare tones if you wish. Clapton used the lace sensors throughout the 80s and 90′s (on 24 Nights) and other great DVDs. Enjoy!… |

Aparece en el álbum The Wall de 1979, en la película Pink Floyd: The Wall (sobre el álbum) es reemplazada por “What Shall We Do Now?”, y fue escrita por Roger Waters. Lyrics; “look mummy, there’s an aeroplane up in the sky” did you see the frightened ones? did you hear the falling bombs? did you ever wonder why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky? Did you see the frightened ones? did you hear the falling bombs? the flames are all gone, but the pain lingers on. Goodbye, blue sky goodbye, blue sky. goodbye. goodbye. goodbye. “the 11:15 from newcastle is now approaching” “the 11:18 arrival….” “congratulations, you have just discovered the secret message. please send your answer to ‘old pink’, care of the funny farm, chalfont…” – spoken by roger [...interrupted...] “roger, caroline’s on the phone…” – unknown voice What shall we use to fill the empty spaces where we used to talk? how shall i fill the final places? how can i complete the wall… |

“Hey You” (del inglés, “Ey tú!”) es una canción de Pink Floyd. Aparece en el álbum The Wall de 1979. Es la primera canción del segundo disco del álbum doble. La canción fue excluida de la película por miedo de parte de los creadores de que dure mucho; por otro lado, una versión áspera está disponible en la 25th Anniversary Edition en DVD. Lyrics: Hey you ! out there in the cold Getting lonely, getting old, can you feel me Hey you ! Standing in the aisles With itchy feet and fading smiles, can you feel me Hey you ! don’t help them to bury the light Don’t give in without a fight. Hey you ! out there on your own sitting naked by the phone would you touch me Hey you ! with your ear against the wall Waiting for someone to call out would you touch me Hey you ! would you help me to carry the stone Open your heart, I’m coming home But it was only a fantasy The wall was too high as you can see No matter how he tried he could not break free And the worms ate into his brain. Hey you ! out there on the road Doing what you’re told, can you help me Hey you ! out there beyond the wall Breaking bottles in the hall, can you help me Hey you ! don’t tell me there’s no hope at all Together we stand, divided we fall…. |
