“Interstellar Overdrive” is a psychedelic composition by Pink Floyd, which appears on their 1967 debut album ‘The Piper at the Gates of Dawn’………. this is not that version. And it is not the recording that can be heard on the soundtrack to the film Tonight Let’s All Make Love in London (which was released in the same year). This is from 10/31/66….

Greenhead Man Band – Interstellar Overdrive Cover (2010). The pretty awesome Greenhead Man Band playing in my local pub Friday night. These guys do some pretty awesome psychedelic and progressive covers. The singer is a local busker, the lead guitarist from Canada, the rest of the guys from the Birmingham/Worcester area and at present play locally mainly. They use all old school 60s/70s kit to get an authentic sound, utilising a hammond. The video doesn’t do it justice I’m afraid….
