Quick demonstration of this funny “floydian” program created on Kurzweil. The program, created by Daniel Fisher, used 31 Layers and almost every single parameter available to simulate the “On The Run” segment on Pink Floyd’s Darkside of the Moon. It was built using triangle waves, square waves, and white noise. All of the sequential sound is actually created by LFO’s, ADSR’s, repeating envelopes, and layer delays. Not long after creating this program Daniel Fisher was promoted to Soundware Engineer. It was later demonstrated to members of Pink Floyd when they decided to use Kurzweils exclusively for their 1994 Pulse Tour.
