Raw! The Wizards cover Pink Floyd’s cosmic journey “Interstellar Overdrive” live (@MDF-X, Baltimore). Visuals taken from the original ‘The Call of Cthulhu’ movie. Licence: Go digital for a third party…. |

Our first attempt to make some kind of music. It’s mostly improvisation. The riff in the beginning is Pink Floyd’s Interstellar Overdrive. The stupid camera cut off the end so it stops in the middle but we didn’t have time to record it again. Please don’t be very crude with your criticism…. |

Emily tries but misunderstands She’s often inclined to borrow somebody’s dreams till tomorrow There is no other day let’s try it another way You’ll lose your mind and play Free games for May See Emily Play Soon after dark Emily cries Gazing through trees in sorrow Hardly a sound till tomorrow There is no other day let’s try it another way You’ll lose your mind and play Free games for May See Emily Play put on a gown that touches the ground Float on a river forever and ever Emily There is no other day let’s try it another way You’ll lose your mind and play Free games for May See Emily Play… |

Nick Mason (March, 1973 interview) Question: But, nevertheless, you played with Frank Zappa in the Amougies festival. Nick Mason: Frank Zappa is really one of those rare musicians that can play with us. The little he did in Amougies was terribly correct. But he’s the exception. Our music and the way we behave on stage, makes it very hard to improvise with us.” source: audience recording A little …… |
