One year ago my very good friend Andrew asked me to do Pink Floyd Cymbaline using my Stratocaster. It took me some time to fulfill this idea, however it was worth waiting. “Cymbaline” by Pink Floyd as performed by Bartzepfloyd. This song was originally recorded by Pink Floyd in 1969 for the their third album called ” More” intended as a soundtrack for Barbet`s Shroeder movie with the same title .The song became a strong point of any performances till 1971 although the album remained probably the most underrated in a band`s history ) *All sound in this video was created and recorded by Bartzepfloyd This performance contains no audio from any other artist(s). ** The use of any copyrighted material is used under the guidelines of “fair use” in title 17&107 of the United States. In this record I played acoustic guitar , bass guitar ,piano,hammonds ,drums and of course vocals I tried to recreate the sound of the late 60`s..hopefully you can hear it …you know unprocessed fat drums and huge echo chambers very common for Abbey Road sound that time ) My cover version is a combination of the album and the live performance KQED San Francisco 1970 so it`s slower than regular album version and I skipped the bongos )…

This song originally appeared on Pink Floyd`s famous double album ” The Wall ” from 1979 and it`sa very emotional song ) I wanted something special so I invited my friend`s son Piotrek to sing Waters part hoping that this will give a more realistic approach to the lirycs ) He`s playing a rythm guitar part also so hopefully you`ll like it ) I played drums ,Bass guitar and I`ve made my first ever solo on my new Stratocaster so please don`t punish me if you find a mistakes ;P *All sound in this video was created and recorded by bartzepfloyd and nirvazeppiter.
