“Don’t Leave Me Now” & “Another Brick in the Wall Part 3″ & “The Last Few Bricks” Pink Floyd: The Wall Live Part Seven. Recorded live at Earls Court, London in 1980. The band performs their entire 1979 rock opera/concept album on stage with costumes, inflatable puppets, Gerald Scarfe’s animation, and an enormous wall made of individual cardboard bricks. Unfortunately, no better quality version exists as there has never been an official release of the video. Also, some footage appears to be from another recording of the concert. Other stage and film versions of the Wall include the 1990 performance in Berlin by Roger Waters and a large group of other musical artists, as well as the 1982 movie starring Bob Geldof. Some songs from the album also appear on the “Pulse” and “Delicate Sound of Thunder” DVDs….

Then David Gilmour and Roger Waters took to the stage before 200 guests to perform four songs together with Guy Pratt (bass and acoustic guitar), Harry Waters (keyboards), Andy Newmark (drums), Chester Kamen (guitar), and Jonjo Grisdale (keyboards). I love this solo, it’s short and sweet. There is more than one guitar track, it doubles up in a couple places but I only recorded the one video track. For recording I played directly through POD Farm, being recorded in Ableton Live Lite 7. The camera was just a regular Casio digital camera. I’m using a Jackson SL3 Soloist.
