SPOKEN INTRO TEXT: Hi YouTube watchers, especially Pink Floyd fans. As most of you know, the band’s keyboardist and founder member Richard Wright passed away on September 15th. The other members describe him as the most reserved and modest. Actually, though his jazz abilities, he invented an essential style. Besides playing keyboards, Wright gave important contributions as a writer (and sometimes as a vocalist), some of which are remembered in this piano cover medley. Richard Wright died at 65 and, as he had kept privacy about his illness, these news came suddenly. It’s sad to know that, if another reunion will be done (after the one at Live8), he will not join it. As many keyboardists, I learned from his style.
