On top, featuring time - the killers cover pink floyd

“On Top” from the album Hot Fuss as performed by The Killers, with a little added bonus. This time, they finish the song with a round of “Time” from Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. I guess you could call it “On Time”. mp3 available to download from here: xensmithy and Nuke126 get credit for this. The arrangement was originally performed live, but as far this particular recording goes, I’m unaware of the origins. If I had to guess, I’d say it was some amazing editing on Nuke126′s part, as the applause is absent and sounds studio-ish. However, if you listen to xensmithy’s video, it’s somewhat choppy at times, and there’s even a window sound at one point. So I decided to go in and edit things, bringing the sound up to full studio quality. I’d appreciate it if you keep the Pink Floyd vs. The Killers comments to a minimum. Yes, I know Pink Floyd has been around for much longer than The Killers, and yes, I’m sure you think they’re better. Both bands are two of my favorites and I think Gilmour and Flowers’ vocals are incredible. If you don’t like the song, then don’t bother listening to/commenting on it. It’s meant to entertain, not cause flame wars. Although if I had to choose between Pink Floyd vs. Killers arguments and “Ronnie totally looks like Earl Hickey!”, I’d probably choose the former….
